"PEOPLE DON'T NOTICE WHETHER IT'S WINTER OR SUMMERTIME WHEN THEY'RE HAPPY!" Anton Chekhov
The beautiful reds and greens of foliage at this time of year certainly make this a great season for weddings but don't overdo the colour combinations. Instead try a different approach of incorporating silver/ white and to a touch of glamour use crystal accents to create a glamorous feeling to your wedding.
When considering a winter wedding of course the weather plays a big part so think about dressing the wedding party accordingly; you can of course wear strapless dresses but incorporate beautiful lush vibrant fur/wool wraps or cloaks in contrasting colours. The Groom could also be dressed in tweed/wool tartans to flatter the colour theme you choose.
Serve mulled wine on arrival of your guests instead of champagne and the menu could start with a heart-warming soup followed by comfy traditional food for dinner with scrummy desserts of apple & blackberry crumble. To finish the night why not send your guest home in the chill of the night after providing them with hot chocolate topped with cream with a tipple of brandy served with an array of cookies.
